Want to be a crucial part of a Pen Pals journey? Sign up for a Home Sweet Home foster weekend below! You pick the weekend and the pup (if there’s a specific Pen Pal you’re interested in fostering) and we will work to make that foster weekend possible! Please note this is contingent on DOC availability, a completed volunteer application, and a prior home visit.

Home Sweet Home foster weekends are designed to give our pups the visibility they need to find their forever home. We ask that each pup fostered be taken to at least one activity where they can meet potential adopters. This can be as simple as taking them on a walk at a park with an “Adopt Me” leash or taking them to your favorite dog-friendly establishment. Do you want to foster but don’t know where to take the pup for their public outing? Say so on the form and we will help you come up with an activity.
