For our June volunteer meeting we are going to meet at Brambly Park on Wednesday June 12 at 5:30pm! Brambly Park is the location of June’s Supper Club so a portion of all food and beverage purchased during the meeting will be donated back to FETCH! Light appetizers will be provided. Because the meeting is being held offsite, the meeting will be in person only.
This meeting will be our kickoff to Pets on Parade, which is our biggest fundraiser of the year, on Friday November 15 at Main Street Station in Richmond. While the event is still a few months away, we need volunteer help now! At the volunteer meeting we will go over how volunteers can assist with gathering silent and live auction items, as well as selling ads for the program.
At 6:30pm Kasey Herrera of 2SpeakDog will lead a Pixie’s Pen Pals volunteer meeting focused on what it looks like to be an intake and evaluation foster. These fosters take in our newest Pen Pals for a 7 day period after they leave the shelter before they begin their training in the correctional facility. If you’ve ever been curious about fostering or considered opening your home, this is a great information meeting with no commitment required. All new and seasoned fosters are encouraged to attend!
