Losing a pet is never easy, and coping with the loss of a beloved companion can be difficult. FETCH a Cure wants pet owners in our community to have the resources they need to deal with the loss of a pet and work through the understandable grief. That’s why we hold a Pet Loss Support Group meeting three times a month for families facing the loss of a furry family member.
Meetings are led by Dr. Leslie Greenberg, an experienced psychologist and member of the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement, as well as Dr. Melissa Miller, a Pet-Loss Grief Support Specialist and Medical Oncologist at Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center. Families are invited to attend our group sessions to help work through the pain of losing a pet. Meetings on the first Tuesday of the month will be conducted via Zoom. Meetings on the second and third Tuesday of the month will be in person at the FETCH a Cure office located at 5711 Staples Mill Road on the third floor. All family members, including children, are invited to attend this complimentary Pet Loss Support Group.
Please RSVP here or by emailing amanda@fetchacure.org.
Attendees are encouraged to make a donation to FETCH a Cure.
